We provide clients with an account on Pacific Transcription’s secure website. When you have an audio file ready for transcription, you simply upload the file to your account and any instructions can be added at the same time.

Pacific Transcription works with all major dictation and transcription platforms including Olympus, Philips, Sony and Winscribe, and can transcribe most types of audio files.

Professionals choosing to conduct their dictation using a digital audio recorder are able to simply upload their audio files to a secure online account with us. Completed letters and reports are then produced within a timeframe of your choosing.

Specialised dictation recorders, known as dictaphones, simplify the dictation process, providing navigable controls for ease of dictation and high-quality close range recording. Pacific Transcription specifically recommends Olympus and Philips professional dictaphones, which are available for purchase through our online shop.

Professionals may also choose to use our dial-in dictation service or dictation apps for direct dictation delivery on their smartphone, which, with the purchase of a licence, will communicate with Pacific’s secure dictation servers.  To find out more about our direct dictation services, click here.

Pacific Transcription can transcribe your tapes, CDs, videos or DVDs. Please contact us to discuss your needs further, and to ensure the safe and secure delivery of your confidential items.  We advise using a registered and/or tracked delivery services, such as Australia Post Express Post or a trusted courier service.

While we can transcribe from your tapes, CDs, videos or DVDs, the audio must be extracted, converted and/or re-recorded, first.  These services do attract additional costs.
