Ease of Use

The Intelligent Dual Microphone System enhances speech recognition accuracy.  The DS-9500 incorporates low noise omni-directional microphones and Shock Resistant Mounting, which reduces touch noise from your hand.  The Triple-Layer Pop-Filter also blocks wind noise when talking into the microphones.  Combined, these factors achieve clearer voice and lower noise, enabling better speech recognition accuracy.  The Intelligent Dual Microphone System also keeps the focus on the person dictating, effectively eliminating intrusive surrounding noise generated in offices, hospitals, cars, airports and other noisy environments.

The microphone settings can be switched to conference recording in order to configure the directionality of the two microphones into a 90 degree layout. This setting is designed to accurately capture all presenters in a conference room. The Triple-Layer Pop-Filter ensures accurate voice capture while reducing unwanted sounds such as breath and wind vibrations for superior accuracy and enhanced workflow efficiency.

Effortless Portability

The DS-9500 has built-in Wi-Fi technology, allowing the user to share dictations from anywhere and send the dictations immediately to the transcriptionist, without the need for a USB cable, docking station, or computer.

Setting up the Wi-Fi is easy.  Simply launch the new Start-up Wizard, which runs you through a quick and easy configuration of the Wi-Fi feature, facilitating real-time dictation file sharing via network server, FTP or email, and quick set up of web-based email clients such as Gmail and MS Office 365.

 

 

 

The new ODMS R7 (which replaces ODMS R6) offers an even more flexible workflow, as R7 allows automation in both on-site and off-site environments, including file routing and workflow rules. Using either a Wi-Fi, LAN, or a USB connection, you can set up efficient delivery of files to predetermined destinations via a network server, email or FTP.

Transcribed documents are returned to the original author with ease.  Pair the DS-9500 and ODMS R7 dictation software with your Dragon speech recognition software for either background or real-time speech recognition functionality, and you’ve got a dictation solution which further decreases transcription time.  With this software, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to find your workflow improves even further.

Enhanced Security
