The OM System DS-2700 digital business dictaphone is designed for easy operation with an intuitive interface and a large color LCD screen. It includes built-in memory for storage, expandability via SD card media for additional capacity, and support for additional microphones and headphones.

The DS-2700 features 2.4 inch TFT color LCD. Featuring a live recording monitor and an easily accessible, intuitive menu system—all at a glance.

4-position slide switch control

Experience effortless dictation with the user-friendly optical slide-switch, enabling you to start, stop, and edit recordings seamlessly without the need to divert your attention to the device.

Recording storage

With 2GB of built-in memory, the DS-2700 also accommodates external SD cards up to 32GB (available separately). Effortlessly transfer your recordings to your PC by utilizing the provided micro-B USB cable.

3.5mm microphone and headphone jacks

Headphones can be connected to monitor or playback your recordings. Additional microphones such as boundary, shotgun or a lavalier can be used for specific situations.

Rechargeable Lithium-ion battery

Benefit from the included Lithium-ion battery, providing an impressive 56 hours of battery life. Recharge the DS-2700 easily by connecting it to a PC or a compatible USB charger.

Resilient in everyday dictation

The DS-2700 showcases a strong and durable design, ensuring its resilience. Rigorous tests have shown its ability to withstand falls of up to 1.5m without impacting recording capabilities.

OM SYSTEM Dictation Management Software (ODMS) R8 Dictation Software enables the effective management and download of audio files for transmission to transcriptionists, enhancing the speed and accuracy of your dictation workflow. Authors can effortlessly download data from the OM SYSTEM dictation handheld device or directly dictate using USB composite audio mode. This seamless integration encourages efficient collaboration, streamlines transcription processes, boosts productivity, and ensures accurate documentation.

ODMS R8 is only for Windows users.   If you would like to purchase the DS-2700 with a 12-month subscription to ODMS Cloud, instead of the ODMS R8 software licence, please let us know.
