Arranging for Pacific Transcription to provide VCAT transcripts – To secure Pacific Transcription as your preferred VCAT transcript supplier, create a free and secure client account with us.
Lodging your VCAT request – Submit your online request form for a transcript of a VCAT hearing to VCAT, to initiate the process.
Receiving the audio – Once the request is approved by VCAT, VCAT provides a copy of the audio of the proceedings to Pacific Transcription.
Making Payment – Pacific prepares an invoice for the cost of transcription, based on the length and complexity of the audio. The invoice is emailed to you and once payment is received, we transcribe the audio.
Producing your transcript – The audio is allocated to one of our highly trained typists, who produces a transcript of the proceedings. The typed transcript is reviewed by our Quality Assurance Team, undergoing a 100% sound check to ensure you receive the highest quality transcript possible. The completed transcript is submitted to VCAT for final approval.
Receiving your transcript – Once Pacific Transcription receives notification from VCAT that the final transcript is approved for release, we upload the completed transcript to your secure client account, for you to access at your convenience.
A VCAT transcript created by us is only available to parties who have first obtained express permission from VCAT, and for a fee.
